HOW CAN I REACH YOU – ON SKIS – ON FOOT – BY BIKE?

ON SKIS: The Granatalm mountain lodge is located in close proximity to the mountain stations of the Finkenberger Almbahn, Nordhangbahn, and Katzenmosbahn cable cars. You can also reach us via the Penkenbahn, Rastkogelbahn, and Horbergbahn cable cars. 
ON FOOT: From the Penkenbahn mountain station, it is a 1.5-hour hike to the Granatalm mountain lodge. But if you also use the Kombibahn cable car, it is only a 30-minute walk. There are many hiking paths for fit hikers from Mayrhofen, Finkenberg or Lanersbach to the Granatalm mountain lodge. A hike up the mountain takes about 2.5 to 4 hours. 
BY BIKE: You can take your bike on the Penkenbahn and Finkenberger Almbahn cable cars. 

WHAT ARE YOUR OPENING TIMES?

Our mountain lodge is open during the Finkenberger Almbahnen cable car operating times.

Summer season 2018 ends on 14th of October.
Depending on snow conditions, winter season starts in the beginning of December and ends in April.

WHAT ARE YOUR OPENING HOURS?

We are open daily from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM in summer and in winter.

WHAT DO YOU OFFER FOR CHILDREN?

We offer the playground Pepi’s Kinderland, which is located just across the sundeck, there’s also an indoor playroom for rainy days. 

WHAT MENU/WINE SELECTION DO YOU OFFER?

We offer a varied menu of mostly regional delicacies from the Zillertal valley. 
Our wine selection consists of mainly Austrian wines, as well as carefully selected Italian premium wines.

WHERE’S YOUR LODGE LOCATED?

The Granatalm mountain lodge is located on the sunny Penkenjoch plateau, right in the Schwendau - Mayrhofen - Finkenberg - Tux ski region.

DO YOU HAVE SERVICE STAFF?

Service in winter is limited to our dining rooms and to a designated outdoor area on our sundeck.
In summer all areas are serviced.

IS YOUR LODGE HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE?

The restaurant is barrier-free and has automatic sliding doors.  The toilets, which are situated on the basement floor, are accessible by lift.
The Finkenberger Almbahnen valley station will also offer barrier-free access. 

HOW MUCH IS YOUR BREAKFAST/“BERGFRÜHSTÜCK” BREAKFAST?

Our “Bergfrühstück” breakfast is available from 19 € per person. Get ready to be surprised!

ARE PETS ALLOWED IN YOUR RESTAURANT?

Of course, pets are welcome. But unfortunately, you cannot bring your pet lion… 

DO YOU OFFER FREE WI-FI?

We offer free Wi-Fi throughout the entire restaurant. Simply use the password “granat2000”. 

CAN I RESERVE A TABLE AT THE RESTAURANT?

DO YOU OFFER SPECIAL MEALS AND/OR DISCOUNTS FOR CHILDREN?

Our menu has a lot to offer for children. But special meals are only provided for students of the “Skischule Sunny” skiing school. 

DO YOU CATER FOR ANY SPECIAL DIETARY NEEDS, FOR EXAMPLE GLUTEN-FREE DISHES?

As all dishes are freshly prepared, we gladly take on special requests, as long as they are in the realm of possibility. 
Be sure to ask our staff. 

DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS? IF YES, WHICH CARDS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept all common debit and credit cards for payments from 20 €.
