At the Granatalm, we host events nearly every week, summer or winter. From live music and children's animation to vernissages and wine tastings - in short, diverse experiences for all ages.

We also welcome private celebrations like weddings, baptisms, birthdays and other family or corporate parties. Celebrate your events in an extraordinary atmosphere. We will tailor the perfect package for you, including lift tickets for all sizes. Mountain wedding

Get married against the breathtaking backdrop of the Zillertal mountains. On the sunny plateau of Penkenjoch, located at 2095 m, it offers an incomparable setting for the most beautiful day of your life. The Granatalm mountain lodge also includes the Granatkapelle chapel, built according to the plans of the famous Swiss architect Mario Botta.

Idyllically located on the reservoir, it forms a kind of link between heaven and earth. Experience the grandiose view of the peaks above 3000 meters of the Zillertal Alps as you say yes.

The Hochfeldstube

Alois Brindlinger – a cattle dealer from Zillertal – bought the Mittertappen-Hartberg-Alm on the Penken approximately 100 years ago and passed it on to his two sons, Josef and Maximilian Brindlinger, along with the home farms.

Thus, the Hochfeldstube is dedicated to the family lineage of Josef Brindlinger – the grandfather of the current lodge hostess - and named after his home farm, the "Hochfeldhof" in Rohrberg.

A tradition of the Hochfeldhof is the name of its owner – Josef – which has been continued for four generations now.

The Friedrachstube

This parlour is named after Maximilian Brindlinger's home farm, the "Friedrachhof" in Zell am Ziller.

This way, a part of history lives on in our parlours and reflects the heritage of our ancestors, of which we are incredibly proud.

The Granatstube

This parlour is named after the Granatalm, its floor-to-ceiling windows offer a breathtaking view of the Zillertal mountains and the Granatkapelle chapel. It provides the perfect setting for celebrations in an exclusive atmosphere.

One of our ancestors – Josef Hofer – was one of the most significant garnet miners in the Alpine region. This is also one reason why we are so committed to the theme of garnet.
